The suitable candidate must be fit, reliable and able to work unsupervised in order to meet strict targets set for each day.
Using an electronic PDA the meter reader will safely visit each property and obtain the gas meter reading. At the end of each day these readings will be downloaded to the office based in Perth using a modem.
The suitable individual would be expected to visit a certain number of houses per hour to meet their performance targets. However exceeding this hourly targets will allow the reader to earn a much higher hourly rate. The successful applicant will be paid at a minimum hourly rate of $22.71ph.
Please note - This is not a fulltime position. On average each week there is 15-25 hours of work Monday to Friday. Some weeks this may be higher or lower depending on the amount of readings required for the cycle. Would suit those with flexible hours, seeking casual employment and extra income.
The suitable candidate must be available to start from the 21st January 2015. We will be reviewing resumes up until this time and conducting our interviews and training sessions from the 21st to the 22nd of January 2015.
